1 Jar - Pitted maraschino cherries
1 bag - hershey kisses
1 cup - slivered almonds
1 pkg - dipping chocolate
1. Remove the amount of cherries you wish to make and place on paper towel.
Gently pat dry without removing stems or squashing cherries in order to remove as much excess syrup as possible.
2. Prepare dipping chocolate as instructed on the package, then holding the stem, dip a cherry in, making sure to cover the whole of the cherry.
3. Place on wax paper with stem facing down and off to a side, not up.
4. Let stand for a few seconds before firmly placing a hershey kiss, flat side to the cherry on the opposite side of the stem and gently placing 2 slivered almonds of roughly the same size behind the kiss to form the ears.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 for remaining cherries, store refrigerated.
